The Class

Tuesday Evenings, 6pm-9pm

Acting is hard, comedy is hard, and acting on camera is hard. So we smashed them all together and put one of the most capable actor/directors we know behind the wheel to teach a class we know is so necessary for Chicago. While there are so many funny folks from improvisors to comics, the on-camera training that casting needs to see in the room and directors want on set, isn’t something they usually get access to. This class changes that. 

What You'll Learn

In this six-week class, actor and director Mary Tilden takes her students through several styles of comedy, and digs into how they change on-camera technique from project to project. Every week, students will get on their feet, and on-camera, changing comedy genres as the class progresses to give a range of experience in just six weeks.
