Demo Camp: November '25

The last Demo Camp of 2025 was a success, with some incredible scenes from our writers brought to life by these wonderful actors. We had every genre from rom-com to post-apocalyptic and horror, and this team crushed it! Learn how a new demo reel is created, from creating the concepts to writing and production:

Creating a Scene

• 📝 Writers Room: We ask our actors what they want to highlight in their demo reel, and based on each of their answers, our writers create scenes to highlight their unique skillset.

• 🎨 Storyboard: A storyboard is drawn up to create dynamic shots that focus on actor performance and create space for actors to play!

• 💪 Rehearsal: The actors and director meet to block the scene and go through their ideas together

• 🎬 And Action! On the day of the shoot, the full production team assembles and sets the lights, camera, and the actors do their thing!

Production Day

Production includes a full day of shooting scenes back-to-back.

1. Our production team gets to set up early to set up lighting, camera equipment, and dress the set.

2. Actors arrive and get into the hair and makeup chair, then head over to sound to get mic'd up.

3. Filming begins! This production team was able to transform the look of each scene seamlessly and knocked out multiple genres in one day!
