Work with Chaz Hodges in her weekly Fly to polish your acting technique. These flows remove the camera so folks can focus for two hours on just the acting, none of the camera technique. Dive into the intricacies of acting, figuring out character, and bringing your characters to life. Like all our flows, these classes allow students to bring what they want as far as material goes. Chaz will meet you where you're at, and work on the things that feel right to you. These Flows let you dip in and out of sessions without the structure of a class, which is great for busy actors with last-minute books. Who is Chaz Hodges? Chaz Hodges is a seasoned actress, coach, and educator with a rich foundation in Theater Arts and Communications. A graduate of the University of California San Diego’s prestigious MFA Acting program, she seamlessly blends classical training with a deep mastery of contemporary storytelling techniques. With over a decade of professional acting experience and more than five years of teaching and private coaching, Chaz specializes in guiding actors toward greater confidence, emotional depth, and commanding presence—both on stage and on screen. Her credits include The Guthrie Theatre (The Legend of Georgia McBride), The Cleveland Playhouse and Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park (Marie & Rosetta), Mixed Blood Theatre (Is God Is), Ubuntu Theatre Project (Hurt Village), Cygnet Theatre (The Wind and The Breeze), La Jolla Playhouse (In the Red and Brown Water), and The Chicago Shakespeare Theatre (Hamlet). Her screen accomplishments include P-VALLEY (STARZ), Send Help (ALLBLK), Soul Ties (YouTube), and her original Poetic Documentary, “God Is A Black Woman” featured at the Black Image Center in Culver City, Los Angeles, The Soho Warehouse in Downtown Los Angeles, The Silver Room Block Party Festival in Chicago, and Notre Dame University, in South Bend, Indiana. Whether working with emerging talent or industry professionals, Chaz fosters a dynamic and supportive environment that encourages growth, authenticity, and artistic excellence.
