Network Auditioning focuses on the specific demands of co-star and guest star work for major TV shows filming locally here in Chicago, fast, grounded, precise performances that book you work! This class is for actors who are ready to build or strengthen their episodic resume, sharpen their audition craft, and gain more confidence with the styles, expectations, and pace of network co-star and guest star casting. Weeks 1-3: Mastering the art of self taping for network TV. Weeks 4-6: Focus on mastering in Person Callbacks. Who Is Ryan Kitley? An award-winning television and theater actor, Ryan Kitley continues to make his mark as a leading man on screens and stages. He has worked in Chicago and Los Angeles for nearly three decades as an actor and a director. Film and television credits include The Chi, Proven Innocent, Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, Boss, Detroit 1-8-7, Guidance, Turks, Early Edition, Miss March, Soul Survivors, Barbershop II, San Gabriel, among many others. As a voiceover artist, Ryan's clients include Lucasarts, Blue Cross, Sears, Bayer, Quicken Loans, Western Union, Red Box, Deloitte, to name a few. Theatre credits include major roles at Goodman Theatre, Writers' Theatre, Provision Theatre, The Matrix Theater, Colony Theater, The Organic Theatre, Mercury Theatre, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Shattered Globe Theatre, The Piven Theatre Workshop, Theatre at the Center, Meadow Brook Theatre, and The Royal George. Ryan was nominated for "best actor" in the 2015 film Guidance directed by Josh Wolff. He received two Jeff Citation nominations for his role as Nick in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? and Austin in The Big Funk. As an improviser Ryan has studied and performed at IO, Second City, Piven Theater Workshop, and The Westside Eclectic. He is also the published author of his book Acting with Integrity.
